Where you will find the Hostology team next. We host free webinars for venue teams, and roadshows at Collective member venues, typically twice a year in October and November, open to Collective members and invited venue owners. We also attend the major UK wedding industry events.
Everything we run is aimed at the people actually delivering events: venue owners, event managers and the teams behind them. Come for the speakers, stay for the conversation in the room afterwards, which is usually the useful bit.
Webinar series
A candid series on what is genuinely changing in the wedding industry and what it means for a venue: AI tools in the enquiry and planning journey, where technology helps a stretched team, and where the personal touch is the whole product. Hosted by Emma Hardcastle with guests from across the sector. Free to attend, and recorded.
In-person, at a venue
A day at a working venue with expert speakers, industry updates and a tour, most recently at Hever Castle, on sustainability in the wedding industry, with the Sustainable Wedding Alliance and The Venue Experts. Earlier series have taken us to Elmore Court, Wasing Park, Iscoyd Park and Pylewell Park.
Industry event
We attend the Sustainable Wedding Alliance's summit and awards each year: a day of genuinely useful sessions on food waste, biodiversity and running a venue more sustainably, plus the awards ceremony and a room full of businesses worth knowing.
