How to make the most of lockdown wedding planning

Our wonderful founder venue Dewsall Court have shared their valued expertise on how newly engaged couples can make the most of lockdown wedding planning. Their tops tips are:

1. Perfect Pinterest - get some vision boards underway with the help of Pinterest. This will really help narrow down the exact wedding that you want, making decisions easier when the sector begins to boom!
2. Research suppliers - get to know the best in business. Whether it’s extravagant flower arts or a naked cake that belongs on Bake Off finale, get to know the best suppliers that can make your dreams come true!
3. Don’t forget the vows - the lead up to the wedding can be stressful, and there is always something forgotten. Get the framework for your vows down now and as the months go by, you can add to them.
4. Have a boogie and make the wedding playlist - get your perfect wedding playlist ready now and avoid the last-minute rush to think of all your favourite songs! And anyway, who doesn’t love a lockdown kitchen disco.
5. Create a wedding website - this is where Hostology has you covered. Hostology allows you to share information about your wedding with your guests, such as time and location. Your guests can RSVP easily, updating their dietary requirements and accessing your gift list all in one go. To add to the temptation, Hostology allows you to edit your wedding itinerary and share this with your venue. To check whether your venue is using Hostology, contact the Hostology team.
