NAWP - the next chapter

You may have seen the announcements this month, heralding the start of a new chapter for the National Association of Wedding Professionals (NAWP). From 13th November 2025, NAWP will be merging with the newly-formed UK Wedding Association (UKWA).

After nearly 13 years of championing professionalism and collaboration in the wedding industry, this next chapter marks an exciting evolution. The synergy between NAWP and UKWA makes this merger a natural and beneficial step forward for our members—and a powerful way to honour the legacy of NAWP.

Alison Hargreaves, Founder & Director of the UK Wedding Association, shares:

“The merger of the National Association of Wedding Professionals and the new UK Wedding Association is an exciting, forward-thinking step for our industry. This collaboration brings significant benefits to NAWP members, including immediate access to a much wider professional network, starting with our launch event on October 13th.

NAWP members will also be the first to access our new industry benchmarking standards, positioning them to lead in defining professional excellence for wedding businesses. We’re delighted that NAWP is at the heart of this transformative moment for the wedding industry.”

To celebrate this new chapter, they’re offering a special combined membership offer until 1st October, which includes an invitation to the UKWA launch event on 13th October. We can’t wait to support them in this exciting new chapter.
