Getting started
A wedding supplier receives an invitation email from a venue or host. Following the link creates their account, where they upload public liability insurance, PAT test certificates and method statements once, then confirm their timings for each event. The portal reuses the same documents across every venue that invites them. Free for invited suppliers.
If you have been invited to join Hostology by a venue, a wedding couple or a party host, use the platform to securely share documents, licences and more with your event team.
1. Accept the invitation
A venue or host sends you an email. Follow the link, set your password, and you are in.
Follow the link in your invitation, create your free account and enter your business details. That is the whole of the setup, and there is nothing to pay.
One account covers every event you are invited to, so the next venue or host who adds you finds you already there.
2. Add your standing documents
Public liability insurance, PAT tests, method statements. Once, then reuse for every event.
Use the supplier section to share documents, licences, insurance certificates, quotes and price lists with the event team: uploaded once and visible to the people running the event, rather than attached to an email that gets buried.
Everyone is looking at the same information, so nobody has to ask you for your certificate again the week before the event.
3. Confirm your timings for each event
For every event you are booked into, you confirm setup, arrival, meal and pack-down. The event team sees them straight away.
4. Message the venue or the host inside the event
Ask questions, share updates, keep everything in one thread.
